Posted: February 3, 2006 Triathlon: Optimists Triathlon To Host 2006 “Best Of The US” Indiana Qualifier (St. Paul, MN – 2/2/2006)–– ”Best of the US” Management is pleased to announce that the 13th annual Optimists Triathlon will host the 2006 “Best of the US” Indiana State Qualifier. The fastest male and female resident amateur will earn the right to represent the Hoosier State at the “Best of the US Championship” in Excelsior, MN on September 16. The Optimists Triathlon, a popular 500+ participant sprint course race, will be contested on Saturday, June 24 at Winona Lake Park near Warsaw in scenic north central Indiana. “We couldn’t be happier that perennial favorite Optimists Triathlon will host the Indiana qualifier,” says Jerry MacNeil, “Best of the US” PR Director. “This event always draws competitive fields.
