Triathlon: Good things come in three’s for Aquasphere and IRONMAN UK

IRONMAN UK are proud to announce that Aquasphere will be the Official Swim Sponsor of IRONMAN UK and the UK IRONMAN 70.3 Triathlon Events for the next three years which covers the 2006, 2007 and 2008 events.

Aquasphere are one the World’s leading goggle and swim accessories producers, leading the way in innovation with their products and commitment to the sport. They are the producers of the ever-popular SEAL Mask which has proved a favourite with IRONMAN athletes since its launch. Aquasphere’s KAIMAN goggle was the first to offer 180 degree wide angle vision and is also a favourite with triathletes worldwide.

For 2006, Aquasphere will be launching the EAGLE, a multi lens “pop out and swap” goggle supplied with two lenses - clear and tinted - which will allow athletes to change the lenses depending on light conditions. Prescription lenses will also be available by mid 2006 and will dramatically reduce the costs traditionally associated with prescription goggles.

The whole range of Aquasphere goggles will be available at the IRONMAN UK and UK IRONMAN 70.3 expo’s and through official retailer TRI UK. They will also be available to test at the IRONMAN UK Course Familiarisation weekends in May and July.

IRONMAN UK takes place on the 2oth August 2006 at Sherborne Castle in Dorset and will once again have 1500 of the world fittest athletes embracing the challenge. The 2006 UK IRONMAN 70.3 moves to its new home of June 18th at Wimbleball Lake in Exmoor National Park.
