Triathlon: Janet Clarkson Memorial Triathlon To Host 2006 “Best Of The US” Wyoming Qualifier

(St. Paul, MN – 2/27/2006)–– ”Best of the US” Management is pleased to announce that the 5th annual JANET CLARKSON MEMORIAL TRIATHLON will host the official 2006 “Best of the US” Wyoming State Qualifier. The fastest male and female resident amateurs will earn the right to represent the Cowboy State at the “Best of the US Championship” in Excelsior, MN on September 16.

The JANET CLARKSON MEMORIAL TRIATHLON, which consists of a .64 mile swim across Hebgen Lake, a 7.3 mile bike leg and a 5.2 mile run is slated for Saturday, June 17 and will be staged at the Madison Arm Resort near West Yellowstone, Montana. The event also serves as the official Wyoming State Qualifier. “Wyoming’s triathlon community is small and races are few. We are indebted to Jack Clarkson and his event committee for hosting their Qualifier. And we thank them for the great job they did in 2005, producing the Montana Qualifier,” says Jerry MacNeil, “Best of the US” PR Director.
