Athletics: Keflezighi Stars in MasterCard "PayPass" Commercial

Meb Keflezighi, 2004 Olympic Marathon silver medalist, stars in the new MasterCard "PayPass" commercial called "Marathon". MasterCard premiered it during the Super Bowl XL pre-game to promote its debit and contact-less cards, and it is in current TV ad rotation including during the recent Grammy Awards.

The commercial shows Keflezighi, a Team Running USA athlete, making pit stops during a competition and using his MasterCard "PayPass" to make quick and convenient purchases such as a sports drink, a magazine and candy at a movie. The commercial ends with Keflezighi winning the race and the MasterCard tagline: priceless.

"The experience in filming the PayPass commercial was in itself 'priceless'. I had the opportunity to see all of the teamwork required to put together a 30-second commercial. I also got to meet some great people on the set. Overall, it was fun work, and I learned a lot," said the two-time Olympian and UCLA grad.
