Triathlon: Hawaii’s Lavaman Kicks Off 2nd Annual “Best Of The U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition"

(St. Paul, MN – 3/1/2006)–– The 9th annual Hawaii Lavaman Triathlon will kick off the 2006 “Best o f the US Amateur Triathlete Competition” on April 2. The final qualifying race, Massachusetts’ Cranberry Country Triathlon, will be staged on August 27. The “Best of the US Championship” is slated for September 16 in Excelsior, MN.

April 22 - FL – Coca-Cola Classic Sprint Triathlon in St. Augustine, FL (.5 mile swim – 13 mile bike – 5K run).
April 22 - NV – Rage in the Sage Triathlon at Lake Mead National Recreation Area near Las Vegas, NV (Intermediate Distance).
April 23 - VA/DC – Kinetic Sprint Triathlon in Spotsylvania, VA (750m swim – 18 mile bike – 5K run).
