Triathlon: Nevada’s Premier Triathlon Announces 2006 Event Date

HENDERSON, Nev. – March 07, 2006 – Frank Lowery, of Lowery’s Multisport Races announced today the City of Henderson will host the 2nd annual Nevada Silverman Triathlon on Sunday, November 12, 2006. Featuring a 2.4 mile swim in Lake Mead, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run that boasts a 2,000 foot elevation gain, the Silverman Triathlon is the race that will set triathletes apart from the mainstream.

More than 450 participants are expected to participate in the event this year. “We are excited to announce that the Nevada Silverman Triathlon will continue in 2006,” said Lowery. “With the success of the inaugural year past, this years event is sure to be bigger and better.”
