South Carolina has many great triathletes. In addition to 2005 representatives Brooks Keys and Michelle Stone, here are some of the athletes that we hope to see at this annual sprint course Classic(in alphabetical order): John Alvarez, Elizabeth Andrew, Bryan Benitez-Nelson, Jamie Church, Gregg Cromer, Jennie Leiser, Cristina Lindsey, Tracy McKee, Amy Pierson, Radek Parnica, Mark Woody and Zachery Stroud. And let’s not forget decorated masters Tom Mather and Patt Loggins. Set-Up Inc. invite these and all the other great athletes of North Carolina to race in Clemson on May 13. The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent North Carolina at the “Best of the US National Championship” on September 16 at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes would ensure a competitive presence for South Carolina at the Championship.
