Posted: March 20, 2006 Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Utah’s Best To Race At The St. George International Triathlon On May 13 (St. Paul, MN – 3/20/2006)–– “Best of the US” Management and SGTRI invite the triathletes of the Beehive State to race at the ST. GEORGE INTERNATIONAL / BEST OF THE US UTAH QUALIFIER in St. George, UT on May 13. Utah has no shortage of great triathletes. Here are some of the athletes that we hope to see at Utah’s premier triathlon (in alphabetical order): Shaun Christian, B.J. Christianson, Greg Deyle, Dave Ference, Alli Gardner, Shannon Gormley, Bri Klug, Maiya Kraus, Debbie Perry, Heath Thurston and Sara Watchorn. Perry, Thurston, Watchorn, who enjoy regional stardom, are among the best kept secrets on the national tri scene. And lets not forget super master Jo Garuccio, a multiple world champion. SGTRI invite these and all the other great athletes of Utah to race in St. George on May 13. The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Utah at the “Best of the US National Championship” on September 16 at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes would ensure a formidable presence for Utah at the Championship. For more information on the St. George International Triathlon, visit www.bestoftheustriathletes.com or www.sgtri.com. The Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition is produced by Midwest Events, LLC of Saint Paul, Minnesota. |
