Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Arizona’s Best To Race At The Sahuarita Lake Triathlon On May 29

(St. Paul, MN – 3/29/2006)–– “Best of the US” Management and TriTucson invite the triathletes of the Grand Canyon State to race at the SAHUARITA LAKE TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US ARIZONA QUALIFIER in Sahuarita, AZ south of Tucson on Monday, May 29.

Arizona has a plethora of great triathletes. In addition to Arizona’s 2005 representatives Dameon Hahn and Erica McClurg, here are some of the other athletes that we hope to see at this annual sprint course classic (in alphabetical order): Luisa Bryce, Emily Edger, George Esahak-Gage, Jane Esahak-Gage, Katie Ellis, Brian Grasky, Maureen Middleton, Craing Pansing, Lisa Ribes, Kimo Seymour, Brandon Sullivan,Thomas Taylor, Caroline Walden, Kristi Willenberg, and Joe Zemaitis. “We are especially intrigued by Caroline Walden. An unknown in 2004, she picked up a silver medal at Worlds last year. We’d love to see her in Minnesota next September,” says Jerry MacNeil, “Best of the US” PR Director.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Arizona at the “Best of the US National Championship” on September 16 at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes would ensure a dynamic presence for Arizona at the Championship.

The Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition is produced by Midwest Events, LLC of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
