Triathlon: DeFeet to Sponsor USA Triathlon Programs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 30, 2006) - USA Triathlon announced today that DeFeet has agreed to become the Official Sock Supplier of USA Triathlon. In this capacity, DeFeet will support several of USAT’s constituent programs for the next two years.

One of the first to jump on board with the new TEAM USA support program, DeFeet will provide 1,000 pairs of customized socks to all athletes making this year’s Team USA. Special markings will be applied to all socks given to team members.

DeFeet will also provide custom arm warmers to the National Teams Program, will produce USAT socks and arm warmers to be available online through USA Triathlon, and will offer discounts on merchandise to USA Triathlon clubs and race directors interested in specially marked socks for athletes.
