Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Illinois’ Best To Race At The Tri-Shark Classic Triathlon On June 3

(St. Paul, MN – 4/07/2006)–– “Best of the US” Management and Tri-Mom Events invite the triathletes of the Land of Lincoln to race at the TRI-SHARK CLASSIC TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US ILLINOIS QUALIFIER in Moraine View State Park near LeRoy, IL on Saturday, June 3.

Illinois has a plethora of great triathletes. In addition to their 2005 representatives, Christian Waterstraat and Kim Genenebacher, here are some of the other athletes that we hope to see at the 13-year-old sprint course classic (in alphabetical order): Elizabeth Attig, Jeremy Borling, Elizabeth Fedofsky, David Fix, Karen Grabowski, Gabe Hamer, Jennifer Harrison, David Irion, Eric Ott, Jennifer Schife, Tara Sheetz, John Wiberg and Brad Zoller.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Illinois at the “Best of the US National Championship” on September 16 at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes would ensure a dynamic presence for Illinois at the Championship.
