Triathlon: World Triathlon Corporation to Launch IronMan.com

Tarpon Springs, Fla. (April 8, 2006) - < AhREF="http://www.Ironmanlive.com" target="_news">IronmanLive.com, the current Web site of Ironman, is changing its name and its look. The new address for the official Web site of Ironman will become IronMan.com and will be the single source for all things Ironman.

Not only will the new site now encompass a variety of world-class race photography, it will also include more comprehensive information on Ironman and its family of events. There will be two distinct areas within the site: one for the Ironman qualifying events for the Ford Ironman World Championship held each October in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and another focused on the Ironman 70.3 qualifying events that culminate at the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater, Fla. Both sections will include full event coverage, imagery and race-related information. Ironman.com will also include the following enhancements:

· A comprehensive nutrition section from PowerBar and its global nutrition specialists.

· Weekly podcast shows - Under iTunes, athletes will be able to find an official Ironman podcast brought to them by IronMan.com. This weekly podcast, hosted by Kevin Mackinnon, will feature up-to-date news and information about the world of Ironman. This insider's view of Ironman will feature special guests and listener's feedback.

· Post-race highlight shows for selected events.

Ironmanlive, now serving as the site function providing strictly live event coverage, has also been enhanced to now include video, picture and text updates. There will be live event coverage of all Ironman and Ironman 70.3 races taking place in North America, including both World Championship events.

"The Interactive Team is very excited about the launch of the new site. Our goal is to bridge the gap between fans and athletes and share the Ironman experience with more viewers. We believe that ironman.com will set a new standard for endurance sports coverage," says ironman.com Production Manager, Dan Gerson.

Ironman ID, a unique feature to the new IronMan.com site will revolutionize the Ironman experience for athletes and fans. Each Ironman athlete will receive his or her own page on the site that includes a bio, race history and a photo. More details on Ironman ID will be released in the coming weeks. Visit IronMan.com to learn more.
