Triathlon: Chris Lieto And Heather Gollnick To Get Personal With Fans

Learn How They Balance Family, Work And Life With Triathlon Training At An Elite Level

Pro triathlete and family man, Chris Lieto, and three-time Ironman Champion and mother of three, Heather Gollnick, will get personal with 80 select fans about their methods of balancing life and triathlon in a free live webcast at 8:30 pm Eastern on Thursday, May 11, 2006. One lucky participant will walk away with a FREE Blue Seventy Helix wetsuit (valued at $500.00), to be given out during the live webcast.

This unique, interactive format, allows the fans unheard of access to the athletes. Carri Bennet, CEO of ES Interactive is excited about the concept of bringing the fans together with the athletes. “By keeping the size of the webcast small, each fan has the opportunity to ask questions—actually interact with Chris and Heather,” said Bennet. A mother of two and Ironman finisher herself, the concept of interactive webcasts was borne out of Bennet’s own curiosity about the pros. “Time management is not new to anyone who balances raising children with their career, but throw in training and racing an iron-distance triathlon and you have some serious judgment calls to make. When and how much do the pros sleep? What do they sacrifice? Are there secret workouts that buy them time? Do their spouses complain? This interactive format gives the fans the opportunity to ask for themselves,” commented Bennet.

Chris McCrary, Principal of Katalyst Multisport Management, will moderate this live interactive webcast fulfilling Katalyst’s prime commitment to extend the reach and influence of the multisport lifestyle.

Fans can go to www.esinteractive.net to register for this free interactive multimedia experience. The webcast is free to participants thanks to the wonderful generosity of sponsors: Astavita, BlueSeventy, nuun, Endurasport Triathlon and SBR Multisports. The participating sponsors have graciously agreed to supply plenty of free product that will be given out during the course of the webcast.

This interactive multimedia experience is a production of ES Interactive. ES Interactive brings together athletes and the brands they endorse so that “access gets personal” for the fans.

About Chris Lieto – Chris has emerged as one of the premiere American triathletes of his generation. Chris' dominance on the bike has established him as one of the strongest cyclists in the sport of triathlon, shattering the bike course record at Ironman Canada 2005 on his way to his second Ironman title. Chris is married to his wife Karis and is the proud father of their 3 year old son Kaiden. Chris lives and trains in Danville California, just outside of San Francisco. In May of 2003, Heather added the prestigious Wildflower long course title to her list of accomplishments. As a former National and World champion in both duathlon and triathlon, Heather knows what it takes to win.
