Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Indiana’s Best To Race At The Optimists Triathlon On June 24

(St. Paul, MN – 5/4/2006)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Phil Eherenman invite the triathletes of the Hoosier State to race at the thirteenth annual OPTIMISTS TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US INDIANA QUALIFIER, a sprint distance classic contested at Lake Winona Park in Wausau, IN on June 24.

Indiana boasts a plethora of talented triathletes. Among those that we hope to see at Optimists, are Joe Bookwalter, David Forsee, Lisa James, Amy Kuitse, Lucas Moser (Warsaw), Ryan Shanahan, Sarah Sanders, Michael Smith, Adam Truex and Chris Wichard.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Indiana at the “Best of the US National Championship” on September 16 at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give the Hoosier state a strong presence at the Championship.
