Triathlon: Best Of The US News For May 13-15

(St. Paul, MN -5/15/06) BOUS management congratulates John Alvarez of Bluffton and Tracy McKee of Charleston, who were top resident amateurs at the Clemson Triathlon / Best of the US South Carolina Qualifier on May 13 and have received invitations to represent SC at the BOUS Championship in Excelsior, MN on September 16.

“Best Of The US” Invites Texas’ Best To Race At The Tri-Raider Sprint Triathlon On June 25

(St. Paul, MN – 5/9/2006)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Directors Mike and Marti Greer invite the triathletes of the Lone Star State to race at the 16th annual TRI-RAIDER SPRINT TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US TEXAS QUALIFIER, a popular event contested at Buffalo Springs Lake near Lubbock on June 25.

Texas has no shortage of triathlon talent. Among those that we hope to see on June 25 are 2005 representatives Bobby Gonzales and Michelle Lester, as well as Chris Arhus, Shanna Armstrong, Angelica Balentine, James Cotter, Amy Cottrill, Stacy Dannels, Alma Darensburg, Emily Deppe (MN Representative in 2005), Rip Esselstyn, Patrick Evoe, Alisa Gartner, Todd Gerlach, Angie Henderson, Tracy Harrison, Aja James, Jason McMillian, Victoria Piper, Seve Plamondon, Autumn Ray, Melissa Ruthven, Sam Shildgen, 17, Lynne Smith, Sally Taggert, Adam Wilk and Ahmed Zaher.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Texas at the “Best of the US National Championship” on September 16 at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give the Lone Star State a formidable presence at the Championship.

“Best Of The US” Invites West Virginia’s Best To Race At The Medexpress Mountaineer Triathlon On June 25

(St. Paul, MN – 5/8/2006)–– “Best of the US” Management and HFP Racing invite the triathletes of the Mountain State to race at the 2nd annual MEDEXPRESS MOUNTAINEER TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US WEST VIRGINIA QUALIFIER, an Olympic distance event staged in Morgantown on June 25.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent West Virginia at the “Best of the US National Championship” on September 16 at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give the Mountain State a solid presence at the Championship.
