Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Ohio’s Best To Race At The Buckeye Lake International Triathlon On July 16

(St. Paul, MN – 5/16/2006)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Directors Shannon Kurek and Scott Erdman (HFP Racing, Inc.) invite the triathletes of the Buckeye State to race at the 16th annual BUCKEYE LAKE INTERNATIONAL TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US OHIO QUALIFIER at Buckeye Lake in Millersport, OH July 16.

Ohio has no shortage of triathlon talent. Among those that we hope to see at Buckeye Lake are 2005 representatives Scott and Andrea Meyers (Scott placed 6th and Andrea took 15th—9th in the fastest State Team Competition--at the 2005 BOUS Championship.), as well as Megan Arce, Ryan Bates, Anna Comella, Jeff Coudron, Kevin Gingras, Kiera Karas, Eric Kollai, Missy Kuck, Georgi Popov, Sally Price, Yvonne Saul-Craigo, Julie Shea-Gordon and Carrie Smith.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Ohio at the “Best of the US National Championship” on September 16 at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give the Buckeye State a formidable presence at the Championship.
