Highlights for June include:

  • The latest event in New York Road Runners Professional Racing Series, the Healthy Kidney 10K, presented by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, draws thousands to Central Park, all to benefit the National Kidney Foundation.
  • For 95 years they have run from downtown, over the hills, to the Pacific Ocean. The tradition of the ING Bay To Breakers in San Francisco continues, thankfully.
  • It’s a great place to live, work, shop and dine…and go fast, the Riker Danzig Newport Ten Thousand in Jersey City features great views and lots of personal records.
  • Kids races, a 5k and a women’s only half marathon. It’s the Junior League Races to Erase Domestic Violence and support from the running community is outstanding.
  • Thirty years and more than 1.2 million runners have crossed the line in the Lilac Bloomsday 12K in Spokane, Washington. But Doomsday Hill will not go away.
  • Over to Dublin for the Great Ireland Run. Where the world’s best showcase their skills in spectator friendly Phoenix Park, the largest urban park in Western Europe.
  • When the finish line is a mud ditch, you know you’re in for an adventure of the highest sort in the eight event Muddy Buddy series. Get dirty!
