Athletics: Herbalife Becomes Title Sponsor of 1st KBS SKY Marathon in Korea

Los Angeles--(Business Wire)--June 2, 2006--Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) has become the title sponsor of 'The 1st KBS SKY Marathon with Herbalife,' taking place on Sunday, June 4, 2006 in Yangju City, Korea. The race is organized by KBS SKY, a major satellite/cable television operator and a subsidiary of KBS (Korean Broadcasting System). This sponsorship reflects Herbalife's long-term commitment to a healthy active lifestyle supported by good nutrition.

Marathons are one of the most popular sports in Korea, symbolizing health, wellness, fitness and fun. This event is expected to attract more than 3,000 participants from almost every province in Korea. More than 1,000 independent Herbalife distributors, their guests and over fifty employees from the company's Korea office are expected to participate.

The race consists of three courses: 5 km (Herbalife Course), 10 km (ShapeWorks Course) and Half course (Niteworks Course). The sponsorship package gives Herbalife the right to use the marathon title logo with the Herbalife mark in all branding and merchandising including stage, starting and ending gates, marathon clothing and number tags. Distributors at the Herbalife booth will sample protein shakes, energizing tea and other products, as well as host various activities and games.

The race will be televised after the marathon for a one-hour program on the KBS SKY Sports Channel.

In 2006, Herbalife is sponsoring over 35 sporting events around the world including triathlons, cycling events, major league soccer, beach volleyball, tennis and dragon boat races.
