Triathlon: Olympic Bronze Medalist Susan Williams pregnant with second child

Lebanon, New Hampshire – Training Camp North is pleased to announce its client, Olympic Bronze Medalist Susan Williams, is pregnant. This will be the second child for Susan and Tim Williams. Their first child, Sydney, is named after the Sydney Olympic Games in which Susan was unable to compete when she learned she was pregnant prior to the 2000 US Olympic Trials in Triathlon.

Susan was scheduled to defend her 2005 title this past weekend at the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, but was unable to compete as a result of the pregnancy.

Williams is happy about the news. “I am definitely excited about being pregnant again,” she says. “Since returning from Athens, I have been more focused on my family. Tim and I are delighted to be having another child. This also gives me the opportunity to focus more on my coaching, speaking engagements and appearances for my sponsors this summer. And when I'm feeling ok, I’m still trying to get a little exercise in, too.”

TCN provides its athlete clients with a full range of management services including new sponsorship relationships, contract construction and negotiation, arranging and coordinating race appearances and speaking engagements as well as public relations expertise.
