Posted: June 23, 2006 Triathlon: Stephen and Bella on the fast track with Saucony Fastwitch 2
Stephen Bayliss and Bella Comerford, Britain’s leading long distance triathlon twosome have signed to race and train in Saucony running shoes for 2006 onwards. Saucony leaders in running shoe technology and development who already work with some of the UK’s leading Olympic distance athletes including Junior National Champion Alistair Brownlee and fellow long distance triathlete Richard Allen were a natural choice for Stephen and Bella. To assist Stephen and Bella in selecting the right shoes both athletes will be working with Jonny Quint of Saucony next month to be bio-mechanically analysed to determine which shoes will suit them best. Stephen and Bella comment “ we our really excited to be working with a brand that wants to not only get our endorsement, but wants to invest time and resource into helping us to get the most out the products we use, and the bio-mechanic testing we will be doing with them next month should really help us.” Jonny comments: "We're very pleased to welcome Stephen and Bella to Team Saucony. Having two highly successful athletes choosing Saucony shoes to train and race in is a great vindication to the team here in the UK and at the parent company in the US. We're looking forward to a long a successful partnership with them both, and wish them all the best in the current season and beyond." |
