Triathlon: USA Triathlon Renews Partnership With Active.Com

Benefits Include Online Services for Registration, Membership and Fundraising

Colorado Springs, Colorado (June 28, 2006) - USA Triathlon and The Active Network, Inc. have renewed a partnership that designates Active.com (www.active.com) as the Exclusive Provider of Online Registration Services for all USAT-owned and controlled events, streamlining the event registration process for USAT members.

The agreement also integrates the sale of USAT one day and annual memberships into the company’s online registration process, offering USAT members the ability to renew memberships online in the future.

As part of the effort, The Active Network has created a web-based solution that gives USAT management of electronic payment and member information associated with each transaction, allowing USAT to download and track pertinent membership information on a regular basis.

In addition, The Active Network is supporting USAT fundraising initiatives through promotion to Active.com’s audience of 6.1 million registered users and thousands of daily visitors accessing services on the Active.com site. The company is also providing access to its ActiveGiving online donation and fundraising services available at www.ActiveGiving.com.
