Highlights for July include:
- The American Legacy Foundation’s Circle of Friends New York Mini 10K brings together the best in the world and 5000 celebrants in the drive to reject tobacco.
- Another festive women’s only event brought an international elite field and thousands to Albany in the 28th annual Freihofer’s Run for Women 5K.
- It all began here 30 years ago. Now the largest running series in the world, the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge, makes its New York City stop and the winner is Charity.
- The Classic 10k from Middletown, New York has a great tradition of elite competition and community involvement in this Orange County town that loves sports.
- Over to the United Kingdom where the boys of Manchester United play on the pitch and thousands run by in the Bupa Great Manchester 10K.
- It’s easy to forget or ignore, but the WABC Father’s Day Fight Against Prostate Cancer Five Miler reminds the guys…get a check-up.
- When you surrounded by a rainbow in the middle of your race, you know it’s going to be a special day. Racing, rainbows and a heavenly touch, a Michelob Ultra Great Moment in Racing.
- 7.6 miles, 4700 feet of elevation gain, with a finish line at over 6000 feet above sea level. But it’s only one hill in the 46th annual Mt. Washington Road Race in New Hampshire.
- You swim, you bike, you run…surf, sweat and sun, then a chance to savor the delights of this island paradise. It’s the extraordinary Honolulu Triathlon.
