Triathlon: Monaco Ironman 70.3 presented by CAL Investments Limited

London-based CAL Investments Limited becomes the presenting sponsor of the Monaco Ironman 70.3. The race will be held for the second time on September 3rd, 2006 and attracts 1000 athletes to run for 130 qualifying spots for the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 World Championships.

Monaco will, for the second time, be the host city for an Ironman in 2006. On September 3rd the triathlon, entailing a 1.9km SWIM, 90km BIKE and 21.1km RUN will attract 1000 athletes from all continents to qualify for the World Championships. 100 athletes will qualify for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship 2006 in Florida, and 30 athletes will win a qualifying spot for the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii 2007. While the race course remains unchanged, CAL Investments Limited (CAL) becomes the presenting sponsor of the World’s most exclusive triathlon in the Principality on the Cote d’Azur.
