Triathlon: Morgan Stanley To Sponsor Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3

September 19, 2006 (Tarpon Springs, FL) – Today, World Triathlon Corporation (WTC), owners of the Ironman brand, announced a new sponsorship with the international financial services firm, Morgan Stanley. Through the agreement, Morgan Stanley will serve as the “Official VIP Host” of the 2006 Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 taking place on November 11 in Clearwater, FL. In addition to serving as Official VIP Host of the event, Morgan Stanley will also sponsor several VIP hospitality activities surrounding the inaugural event.

World Triathlon Corporation, owners and organizers of the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 Series, is a Florida-based company known for athletic excellence, performance and quality products. Launched in June of 2005, the Ironman 70.3 Series consists of 20 events that culminate each November at the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater, FL, one of the world’s top beach destinations.
