Beijing, China will play host to the thirteenth stop of the 2006 BG Triathlon World Cup series this Sunday, September 24th. The 2006 Beijing BG Triathlon World Cup also doubles as the first test-event for the 2008 Olympic Games triathlon competition.
Tune into the live coverage of the Beijing World Cup this weekend for all the excitement when all the top athletes will be present to test out the new Olympic course. It’s sure to be a fantastic battle with the hilly course testing the athlete’s abilities. With a strong field looking to test the course in preparation for Olympic selection next year there are sure to be some great battles. The hilly course coupled with a break on the bike could lead to a very interesting race and maybe some surprises.
