Triathlon: Zoggs Swims into Triathlon with Human Race

Australian born swim brand Zoggs has signed a three-year sponsorship of Human Race Events. Zoggs will be the Official Swim Partner of all Human Race triathlon events until 2009.

Human Race, leading multi sport event organisers in the UK, organises some of Britain’s premier triathlon events in its extensive race calendar, including the acclaimed Royal Windsor Triathlon, which hosted the National Elite Triathlon Championships this year and received television broadcast on Channel 5 and Eurosport.

Zoggs has a full range of swimming equipment and swimwear that is ideal for triathlon. It also has a fully interactive online swimming training programme, Swim4Fitness.com™ that enables triathletes to download programmes and record their training online.

Mark Hammersley, CEO of Zoggs, said: “Zoggs is delighted to be working with The Human Race for the next three years. The growth of Triathlon in the UK over the last three years mirrors our own growth and we are committed to supporting Triathlon as a sport.

“Zoggs already has a strong range of product suitable for training and competing in Triathlons, but we plan to use The Human Race to help us develop even better products for the Triathlon market.”

Human Race Managing Director John Lunt commented: “We’re excited to welcome Zoggs on board and look forward to developing a successful partnership. It’s a fantastic global brand to be associated with and their expertise in swimming will be of genuine benefit to all triathletes taking part in our events.”

The 2007 season will begin for Human Race on 19th and 20th May with the Eton Super Sprint events at the Dorney Lake Rowing Centre.
