The 2007 Road Race Management Directory, the most authoritative and comprehensive source of contact information for the running industry, is available for a special pre-publication discount, according to publisher Phil Stewart. The pre-publication discounts expire on Feb. 15, and the directory will be published on March 1.
"The pre-pub discount price is $10 off the prices on the flyer [attached] which means elite athletes pay $79 (including shipping) for U.S. orders/$90 overseas and the standard (non-elite athlete) rate is $129.00 U.S./$140.00 overseas," said Stewart in an e-mail message.
At the heart of the Directory are detailed chronological listings of road races offering prize and/or appearance money, and an alphabetical listing of elite athletes and their contact information. There is also an agent listing, plus hundreds of pages of industry contacts, from shoe companies and television talent to event management companies and awards manufacturers.
For those who purchase the Directory, a password-protected section of the Road Race Management website is available where updated listings can be browsed throughout the year, supplementing the information in the printed Directory.
