After a stellar 2006 season, American triathlon star Chris Lieto has confirmed that he will be in Kona in early April as a guest coach for the LavaCamp Triathlon Camp. Chris returns to the site of the Hawaii Ironman where he was the top American finisher last fall. Chris is becoming a legend in the sport and holds Ironman bike records on 3 different Ironman courses. He will join Olympic and Pro Ironman Coaches Lance Watson and Paul Regensburg for this 3-day triathlon camp at the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa.
The camp is designed for athletes to improve their triathlon skills, knowledge, and build early season fitness in a warm and sunny climate. A variety of training sessions, seminars, and socializing will provide a once in a lifetime opportunity to train on the legendary Kona Ironman course. Other confirmed LifeSport pro athletes include Canadian Elite Athlete Carolyn Murray and Dutch National Team Member Lisa Mensink. The camp will take place in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Lavaman Triathlon and a Women’s Only and Kids Camp will also be offered. Space is limited and all levels are welcome.
