Athletics: No Double For Symmonds At U.S. Indoor Championships

"I don't really feel like running two races tomorrow," he said after winning the second of three heats in the 800m. Symmonds, who ran a personal best 3:56.72 indoors this season, is the favorite in tomorrow's 800m final which is scheduled for 4:13 p.m. The mile --which is a straight final-- is scheduled for 5:14 p.m. Symmonds is entered in the mile, but only as a precaution in case something had gone wrong in the 800m today. Alan Webb is the favorite in the mile, but should get a good challenge from Chris Lukezic, his sometime training partner.
