Athletics: Track Hogs Set to Host NCAA Indoor Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas will host the 2007 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, Fri.-Sat., March 9-10, at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

Events will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday with the men's heptathlon. Field events will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the running events starting at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, the day will start at 11 a.m. with the completion of the men's heptathlon. Field events will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the running events will start at 6:15 p.m.

Tickets are available at www.hogwired.com or by calling the Razorback ticket office at 1-800-982-4647. Reserved seating and general admission tickets are still available. A two-day pass in reserved seating is $35 while a two-day pass in general admission is $25. Starting Friday, general admission tickets will be sold at the door on a day-by-day basis for $15.

Arkansas has 12 athletes that have recorded NCAA provisional-qualifying marks in 10 events. The complete list of accepted athletes for the NCAA Indoor Championships will be posted online at www.ncaasports.co late in the day on Monday.
