Triathlon: Best Of The US Welcomes The Inaugural Chelanman Olympic Triathlon As 2007 Washington State Qualifier

(St. Paul, MN – 3/24/07) Best of the US Management is pleased to announce that the 1st annual ChelanMan Olympic Triathlon, which will be contested on Sunday, July 22, will host the 2007 “Best of the US’ Washington State Qualifier. The fastest resident amateur male and female finisher will be invited to represent the Evergreen State at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 6 at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, FL. The ChelanMan Olympic Triathlon (1.5K swim – 40K bike – 10k run) is part of “ChelanMan Multisport Weekend” and will also host sprint, youth and half iron triathlons, a splash and dash duathlon and 5K, 10K and half marathon runs. All events will be staged at Don Morse Park on Lake Chelan, which is billed as a “Recreational Paradise” in the North Cascades National Forest. The ChelanMan Multisport Weekend is a project of Chelan Multisport Group -- Chelan area community volunteers dedicated to raising funds and creating events that promote healthy and active lifestyles for Chelan area children and residents.
