(St. Paul, MN -April 5, 2007) Ben Collins, a nominee for US Amateur Triathlete of the Year in 2006, and Bree Wee, 7th at the BOUS Champs in 2005, were the amateur champions at the 10th annual Lavaman / BOUS Hawaii Qualifier on April 1. "We are so excited," said BOUS PR Director Jerry MacNeil." "Ben and Bree are world-class amateur triathletes! If they accept their invitations, Hawaii will be one of the favorites to win the Fastest State Competition."

2nd Passdown: Jimmy Davis, 30, Honolulu (4th overall); Mariane Uehara, 26, Honolulu (9th woman overall)
