(St. Paul, MN – 5/3/2007)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Tom Wilkas invite the triathletes of the Constitution and Ocean States to race at the fifth annual PAT GRISKUS OLYMPIC TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US CONNECTICUT & RHODE ISLAND QUALIFIERS at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, CT on June 16.
Some of the many talented Connecticut male triathletes we hope to see at Griskus Olympic, include Peter Baker, Martin Cashin, Thomas Christopher, Peter Daly, Robert Gary, Eric Hodska, Coby Jacobus, William Lunn, Paul McClaskey, Mike Nahom, Steve Pyle, Alister Ratcliff, Ian Ray, Scott Roth, Christopher Schulten, William Schumann, Greg Stewart and Max Wunderle. Top women include Rachel Beckmann, Kelly Bergkessel, Amanda Braverman, Laura Burke, Kristen Butcher, Pascale Butcher, Deborah Cashin, Laurie Cizek-Brannigan ,Vicki Dalton, Amy Dominick, Lisa Dunn, Megan Forbes, Kim Georgiades, Donna Kay-Ness, 4th at the 2005 BOUS Championship, Lisbeth Kenyon, Robyn Passander, Marisa Ryan, Patsy Thomas, Silke Wunderwald and Amy Zindell. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give Connecticut a formidable presence at the “Best of the US Championship” at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, FL on October 6.
Top Rhode Islanders he hope to see on June 16 include Emily Anderson, Abigail Anthony, John Hirsch, Larry Orlando, super-master Amy Rice, Elise Von Housen and Kristen Wilkes.
