Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Indiana’s Best To Race At The Mideast Sprint Optimist Triathlon On June 23

(St. Paul, MN – 5/9/2007)–– “Best of the US” Management and the Mideast Sprint Championship Optimist Triathlon Race Director, Ron Donkers, invite the triathletes of the Hoosier State to race at the fourteenth annual MIDEAST SPRINT OPTIMISTS TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US INDIANA QUALIFIER, a sprint distance classic contested at Winona Lake Park in Warsaw, In. on June 23. Indiana boasts a plethora of talented triathletes. Among those that we hope to see at Optimists, are David Bretscher, Joe Bookwalter, Britta English, David Forsee, Joe Golden, D.J. Hanback (2006 IN Representative), Lisa James, Amy Kuitse, Lucas Moser (Warsaw), Ryan Shanahan, Sarah Sanders, Michael Smith, Adam Truex, Nathan Truex and Chris Wickard (11th at 2006 BOUS Championship). The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Indiana at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 6 at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, Florida. Any male/female combination of the above mentioned athletes will give the Hoosier state a strong presence at the Championship.
