Athletics: Felix named USATF Athlete of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS -Allyson Felix has been named USA Track & Field's Athlete of the Week after winning an impressive double, the women's 100 meters and 400m, Friday at the Qatar IAAF World Super Tour 2007 in Doha, Qatar.

The 2005 World 200m champion, Felix started off her night with a win in the women's 100m, crossing the line in 11.27 seconds. A little less than an hour later, Felix dominated the women's 400m where she blasted her way to a new personal record and world-leading 50.40 for the win.
