Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Mississippi’s Best To Race At The Heart O’ Dixie Triathlon On July 21

(St. Paul, MN – 6/7/2007)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director John Williams invite the triathletes of the Magnolia State to compete at the 28th annual HEART O’ DIXIE TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US MISSISSIPPI QUALIFIER, a venerated point-to-point race originating in Louisville, MS and concluding in Philadelphia, MS. The event, which consists of a half mile swim, 27.5 mile bike and 7 mile run, is slated for Saturday, July 21. Mississippi boasts many talented triathletes. Among those we hope to see at Heart O’ Dixie ‘07, are Clay Curtis, Amy Davis, DeShon Davis, Chuck Engle, Cathy Henderson, Christy Jayne, Cassie Kippie, John Noblin, 2006 BOUS delegate Kathryn Povolo, Marc Sims and Kelly White. The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Mississippi at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 6 at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, FL.
