Triathlon: SheROX Philadelphia Triathlon Names Ameriprise Financial as Title Sponsors

Exciting new women’s triathlon series launches this summer in Philadelphia’s Historic Fairmount Park PHILADELPHIA, Pa., June 26, 2007 – The SheROX Philadelphia Triathlon is pleased to announce that Ameriprise Financial will be the race’s inaugural title sponsor. The Ameriprise Financial SheROX Philadelphia Triathlon will premiere on August 5, 2007 in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park and is the first in a series of SheROX triathlons to roll out in key markets over the next couple of years. The Ameriprise Financial SheROX Philadelphia Triathlon is produced by Philadelphia Triathlon, LLC, organizers of the highly acclaimed Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon in Fairmount Park. The race includes a .8K (.5 mile) swim, 25K (15.5 mile) bike and a 5K (3.1 mile) run. There will be a pre-race expo on Saturday, August 4 featuring women’s health and fitness exhibitors along with triathlon-related activities. A portion of the proceeds from the Ameriprise Financial SheROX Philadelphia Triathlon will be donated to the Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
