Correction (8:41 a.m.) - Robinson Not On USA Team For Pan Am Games
Karen Locke, who represents Khadevis Robinson, has alerted your editor that, despite the recent USATF announcement, the U.S. 800m champion will NOT compete in the Pan Am Games.

"Just to clarify, KD will not compete at Pan Am Games," Locke wrote in an e-mail. "The travel is too much after being in Europe prior."

USATF will have to name a replacement. Since Nick Symmonds has already passed on the team, Jonathan Johnson and Lopez Lomong would be next in line, going down the rank order of finish from the recent AT&T USA Outdoor Championships, which was the selection meet.

USA Track & Field released their athlete roster for the Pan Am Games scheduled for Rio de Janeiro later this month. A team of 48 men and 46 women will compete from July 22 - 29. They qualified by virtue of their rank-order of finish at the recent AT&T USA Outdoor Championships.

In the middle and long distance events, the athletes best-positioned to win a medal are the recently crowned U.S. 800m champions, Khadevis Robinson (1:43.68 PB) and Alysia Johnson (1:59.29 PB).
