St. Jude Heroes are now being recruited for the 2007 US Half Marathon to be held in San Francisco on Sunday, November 4. As the official charity, St. Jude Heroes raise money in support of life-saving work conducted at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. For a limited time only, St. Jude Heroes will receive $10 off race registration fee when they sign up at StJudeheroes.org. The US Half Marathon has been voted "Best of the Bay" Half Marathon in 2004 and 2005 by CitySports Magazine readers. The course features beautiful scenery of the Golden Gate Bridge and finishes with a post-race festival featuring live music, food, drink and a kids' playground in Aquatic Park.
