Athletics: Watch Asafa Powell break his 100-meter world record on WCSN.com

World Championship Sports Network (WCSN.com) provides an exclusive on-demand webcast of Asafa Powell's record breaking performance at the Rieti IAAF Grand Prix. At yesterday's event, Powell broke his own 100-meter world record and set a new record of 9.74 seconds.

The Jamaican Commonwealth champion set the record in his heat and then went on to win the final in 9.78. Powell initially set his previous record of 9.77 in Athens in June 2005 and went on to equal the time in June and August 2006.

On September 14 at 11a.m. ET, fans can log on to WCSN.com to watch this exciting event in its entirety.

The Rieti IAAF Grand Prix will be available on-demand on September 14 at 11a.m. ET.
