Toronto, ON - October 11, 2007 - On your mark, get set.go! Don't miss the
exciting start and finish of the 13th annual Toronto Marathon. On Sunday
October 14, over 10,000 participants from 40+ countries will hit the streets
of Toronto in support of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and a
host of other charities.
Watch the start at Mel Lastman Square, Queen's Park for the finish, and
anywhere along the 42 km route to see Toronto's largest running event of the
year!

The Toronto Marathon is the largest and oldest marathon in Toronto,
generating $15 million to the local economy each year. Over 10,000
participants from 40+ countries are expected to participate in the Marathon,
Half Marathon, 5K or Relay on October 14, 2007. Since 1995, the Toronto
Marathon has generated over $5 million for its various charitable partners
including the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, Hemophilia, Multiple
Sclerosis, Toronto Foundation for Student Success, ICA Canada and Diabetes.
