Aquathlon: La Rąpita City, Aquathlete's New Paradise

Last Saturday at 11 a.m., nearly one hundred of aquatletes threw themselves to the waters of the calm bay that there closes the Trabucador of Ebre river's delta, forming a salty "lake" " ideally to swim. A radiant day saw as Jordi Calduch and Belen Hidalgo won on their categories, on that last event of the Aquathlon Tour'07, so they were proclaimed this way winners on the Aquathlon Tour overall. IRONTERRA's aquathlons starts on a 4km swim followed by 20km trail run after the only one transition. It's a real trail run by the trabucador, a sand stripe of 5km of large and 100 m wide, that was making the effort harder, since it was like to run for the desert.
