Gay to be featured on ESPN's E:60
The fastest 100m-200m combination sprinter in history, three-time World champion sprinter Tyson Gay will be the focus of a short segment on the ESPN magazine show E:60 Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 7:00p.m. ET.
E:60 is ESPN's first primetime news magazine show. Gay will be featured in a brief, fast-paced segment called "Next," which showcases an athlete deemed ready to explode into stardom beyond his or her sport. It was filmed last week at the Lafayette High School track in his hometown of Lexington, Kentucky. Just a few days earlier, Gay's high school track and football jerseys were retired in a special half-time ceremony at Lafayette, and earlier last month Gay received the key to the city from mayor Jim Newberry.
