Triathlon: AIG Supports CEO Ironman Athletes

BOULDER, CO (February 11, 2008) - CEO Challenges, the world leader in sport competitions designed specifically for CEOs and C-suite executives, today announced that AIG Private Client Group, a division of the personal lines property and casualty insurance subsidiaries of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), has become the title sponsor for all of the 2008 CEO Ironman and CEO Triathlon Challenge events. As the title sponsor, AIG Private Client Group will have its logo on the racing uniforms, an ad in each event program, links on the CEO Challenges Website, and VIP passes and access to private functions.

The CEO Ironman Challenge began as small 'race within the race' for 15 CEOs at Ironman USA Lake Placid in 2001. The program is now an official licensed product of the Ironman Corporation, and has grown to 125 CEOs at eight events worldwide. The kick-off event this year will be CEO Challenge Presented by AIG at the Ford California Ironman 70.3 on March 29. Eleven CEOs, representing companies with over $2.8 Billion in combined annual revenue, will test their fitness over the challenging course in Oceanside. The winner will earn a much coveted slot to Hawaii for the CEO World Ironman Championship, where they will battle nine other CEOs for the title of 'Fittest CEO(R) in the World'.

"We are thrilled to have AIG Private Client Group intrinsically involved with our events, and supporting the CEOs that juggle running their businesses, with training, constant travel, and family commitments," stated Ted Kennedy of CEO Challenges. "There is no doubt that the CEOs, and their guests, will benefit greatly from AIG Private Client Group's presence at the events."

Tim Wood, VP Business Development for AIG, adds, "AIG Private Client Group is pleased to be associated with the CEO Challenges. Our lead sponsor of CEO Ironman and CEO Triathlon Challenge events is a natural extension of the AIG Private Client Group brand."
