Triathlon: Best Of The US Invites Connecticut’s Best To Race At The Pat Griskus Olympic Triathlon On June 14

(St. Paul, MN – 5/7/2008)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Tom Wilkas invite the triathletes of the Constitution State to race at the sixth annual PAT GRISKUS OLYMPIC TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US CONNECTICUT & RHODE ISLAND QUALIFIERS at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, CT on June 14.

Some of the many talented Connecticut male triathletes we hope to see at Griskus Olympic, include Peter Baker, Martin Cashin, , Peter Daly, Cristano Gloria, Mike Nahom, Steve Pyle, Alister Ratcliff, Ian Ray, Scott Roth, Christopher Schulten, Robert Staznitskas, Daniel Thelen, Christopher Thomas (12th at 2007 CT BOUS Championship), Mitch West, and Max Wunderle. Top women include Rachel Beckmann, Kelly Bergkessel, Pascale Butcher, Laurie Cizek-Brannigan,Vicki Dalton, Amy Dominick, Lisa Dunn, Megan Forbes, Julie Gliesing, Donna Kay-Ness (4th at the 2005 BOUS Championship) Lisbeth Kenyon, Robyn Passander, Marisa Ryan, Rebecca Stevenson, Patsy Thomas, Silke Wunderwald, Jan Zee-Zoufaly and Amy Zindell. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give Connecticut a formidable presence at the “Best of the US Championship” at Tempe Towne Lake in Tempe, Arizona on October 26.
