Watch over 50 IAAF Events Live and On-Demand at WCSN.com

For athletes interested in racing an Ironman this summer, LifeSport, “The Official Coaches of Ironman”, is offering athletes an exciting opportunity to attend the Official Ironman Louisville Preparation Camp (July 25-27) and then take the starting line at the Ford Ironman Louisville on August 31st. This is the perfect option for athletes looking to prepare and race an Ironman this summer given that all the North American Ironmans have been long sold out. Only 12 spots will be offered.

The 2007 Ford Ironman Louisville got rave reviews in its inaugural year. The race starts in the Ohio River and the bike and run course will take athletes throughout various areas of Louisville to include not only downtown but also Prospect, Clifton, the city of LaGrange, Clarksville, Ind. and Butchertown. The race will also feature a spectacular finish at Fourth St. Live.

The Ironman Louisville Preparation Camp will include a weekend of specific preparation in Louisville, Kentucky with internationally renowned Ironman coaches and top pros to share their tips and inspiration. The camp will serve as a perfect opportunity to train on the actual race course and learn long distance training and racing strategies that you can use in your preparation.
