And let’s add the name of tri-newcomer Brooke Davison, who demolished the Elite Amateur field at St. Anthony’s last April, She finished 4:09 ahead of runner-up Florida’s Lotte Branigan, a two-time 2nd place finisher at the Best of the US Championship and 2006 USAT Athlete of the Year.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Colorado at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 26 at Tempe Towne Lake in Tempe, AZ. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give the Rocky Mountain State a podium-worthy presence at the Championship.
