(St. Paul, MN – 5/30/2008)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Tim Severa invite the triathletes of the Gem State to race at the 23rd annual SPUDMAN TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US IDAHO QUALIFIER, an Olympic distance classic contested at Spring Shores Marina in Boise on July 12.
Some of the many talented triathletes we hope to see at Spudman, include Kelsey Backen, Becky Bjork, Trevor Gray, Adam Green, Karrn Gustafson (2006 ID BOUS Representative), Lori Harvey, Margaret Hepworth, Thomas Liby, Ryan Lindsay, Jeanne McFall, Kristina Mitchell, Leigh Morse (2005 ID BOUS Representative), Jennifer Morton, Shane Niemeyer, Heather Ramsdell, Bryan Shiflett, Jeff Smith, Roger Thompson, Jenny Tobin, Cheri Weimer and 2006 Idaho representative Kelly Williamson, who placed 7th at the 2006 Championship at Lake Minnetonka, MN. Williamson has relocated to Virginia and represented that state at the 2007 BOUS Championship, where he placed 6th.
The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Idaho at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 26 at Tempe Towne Lake in Tempe, Arizona.
