Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Washington’s Best To Race At The Chelanman Olympic Triathlon On July 19

(St. Paul, MN – 6/7/2008)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Jonathan Hoskins and his Total Health Events team invite the triathletes of the Evergreen State to compete at the 2nd CHELANMAN OLYMPIC TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US WASHINGTON QUALIFIER at Lakeshore Park in Chelan, WA on Saturday, July 19.

Washington is teeming with talented triathletes. Among the elite men we hope to see at Chelanman Olympic, are Mike Bergquist, Chris Blair, Joe Byers, Ed Clarke, Guy Crawford, 2006 WA BOUS delegate John “Johnny Mexico” Dalrymple, Mark Davies, John Duquette, Thomas Elliott, Michel Gordon, Ben Greenfield, Kurt Hartmaier, Damian Hill, Clark Holvorson, Joel Kinnunen, David Larpenteur, Michael Montgomery, former USAT National Champion Jeremiah Mushen, Andrew Neff, Carl Newton, James O’Brien, Bart Orth, Darin Shields, Daryl Smith, Roger Thompson, 2007 representative Rob Webster, Jr., 18, who turned in the race of the day at the BOUS Championship, finishing 4th, and Kelly Young. Top women we hope to see on July 19 include Libby Armentrout, Britni Bakk, Alina Brown, Haley Cooper, Aubre Debenham, Kirsten DeHart, Tamara Donnelly, Chantel Efraimson, Christina Feliz, Anne Jensen, Cynthia Krass, Monique Lance, Kelly Molaski, Karolyn, Nielsen, Teresa Nelson, Tracy Orcutt (3rd at 2006 BOUS Championship!, 12th in 2007), Cara Payne, Joanna Pomykala, Marti Reimer-Reiss, Catherine Rodehaffer, Robin Secrist, Rhae Shaw, Karin Stender, Patty Swedburg, Sonia Tonnemaker,

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Washington at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 26 at Tempe Towne Lake in Tempe, Arizona.
