Triathlon: Pre-race blood tests come back negative at Quelle Challenge Roth

ROTH, Germany—Results from pre-race blood tests administered to 61 professional athletes before the seventh Quelle Challenge Roth have all come back negative, organisers reported this weekend.

The blood tests, conducted in cooperation with the German anti-doping agency NADA and the World Anti-Doping Agency, were administered to the athletes on Thursday as part of the race’s continuing efforts to promote clean sport. Athletes will also undergo urine tests—including checks for the blood-boosting agent EPO—after the race.
